Welcome to Union Hill Roadside Tavern, a locally owned neighborhood gathering place at Union Hill. Whether you're meeting friends after work, grabbing dinner with family, or passing through on a trail exploration, you'll always find friendly faces, great food, and a cold drink waiting.

Originally established in 1950 as a local grocery store before transitioning into a bar, Union Hill Roadside Tavern—affectionately known by locals as "The Hill"—entered a new era in July 2026 under the ownership of local entrepreneur Keith Unger. Keith's goal is simple: honor and protect everything regulars love about the tavern while continuing to elevate the guest experience.

At the heart of that mission is a deep commitment to supporting local businesses. Keith and his team are proud to partner with some of the region's finest suppliers:

• Odenthal Meats: Fresh, hormone-free beef for our signature burgers.
• Lau's Czech Bakery: Freshly baked buns crafted to perfection.
• Ruck's Meat Market: The same quality, locally sourced pork our guests have counted on for years.
